So yeah, this past summer was not good for me in regards to work, and I really could’ve used the money. I just started my junior year of college, and I’m paying my way through by waiting tables in Spring Valley and coaching a baseball camp as well. Both jobs weren’t nearly as successful as they were in the past few years, and I needed some cash to make sure the tuition was paid for the semester. I couldn’t get a loan anywhere in Spring Valley or in Lemon Grove, La Mesa, or La Presa even for that matter, and I about called every place in the phone book. Then I went online, and didn’t find a bank or credit union, but an auto title loans company that helped me tremendously. They got me a car title loan without having to give up my car, got me my cash in an hour at their affiliate location, and only needed my car title to hold. I paid the tuition right when it was due, and I’m still working throughout the year so that I can hopefully pay off the title loan within the next couple months.
