Personally, I can’t believe that the recession is still in full affect here in California, and I think that it’ll still be a long time before we fully recover. We still keep getting calls and applications in because people are still affected. Take this man I helped in Canebrake a few months ago who lost a lot of money in the stocks, and needed cash to pay his mortgage. He already tried banks and loan agents in Onyx, Weldon, and Inyokern, but he just couldn’t seem to get approved anywhere. I was able to get him approved for a car title loan worth $6,500 even though the banks couldn’t. Talk about his own little stimulus package! He was so excited that I was able to help and he quickly paid the mortgage so he wouldn’t get behind on it. I know that he ended up doing alright because he called yesterday thanking me again after he paid off the title loan in full this morning.
